What do YOU think?

In the initial inquest, coroner Cleland ruled he didn’t know where the Somerton Man died, then he later ruled that the Somerton Man died where he was found.

Why did he change his mind?

Possibly, a few reasons but, two come to mind:

    1. He was thinking the least troubling answer was simply to state he was found dead at the beach.
    2. The more problematical answer that may have arisen is, that, certain information came to light, about the SM and his background. Cleland was ‘advised’ what the most ‘satisfactory’ explanation would be for the media/public only to know.

  2. Thanks Clive, and on the same note, It’s confusing why some of this site’s most profuse commentators, like Johnny Sanders etc have given up the chase .. no staying power even though there are many unanswered questions.

Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s you .. maybe they’re just like a bunch of Sheilas in a frock shop looking for the newest fashion.

Perhaps John Sanders has gone undercover-in a frock shop? No, well we’ll skirt around that possibility!

  4. My sentiments exactly Clive, no use dressing it up into something it isn’t.
