Spy literature, what’s true, what’s fiction and who wrote what.

Years ago I was foolish enough to mention that I enjoyed reading le Carre novels, by foolish I mean I exposed myself to some ridicule from an expert in the espionage field, this was the gentleman who so skillfully exposed secret writing on the Boxall Rubaiyat.

Nevertheless I though that since that inglorious day I’ve accumulated quite a library of espionage titles, both fictional and true and thought, well why not list the authors here, maybe some readers might take up the habit, because believe me, there is a lot to learn in their works.
