Soon we will know who the Somerton Man was, or was not.
The website at the bottom of this post is where we can expect to read where the facts of the Somerton Body Case will be finally published and his identity confirmed as being Carl Webb or not.
This investigation has been a complicated years long exercise as it has involved the Australian Federal Police, Forensic Science South Australia, SAPOL and various un-named overseas institutions, possibly but not necessarily including the institution used by the Abbott Fitzpatrick investigation and which resulted in their decision confirming the Somerton Man was Carl Webb.
And it has been a long journey indeed.

The SA Coroner better get his skates on because, according to my “YouTube Recommended channels”, it’s the end of the world (again) on 8th of April.
Sumfink to do with an eclipse and the CERN hydrogen collider being cranked up on the same day.
It’ll be pretty heartbreaking to go to my death not knowing that SM isn’t Webb (even though I know he isn’t, NO MATTER what that dodgy report will say.)

Took quite awhile to finaly pin down SM’s real ID, plus initiative initiative and investigative nouse. Punters can be assured that Hee Haw Bray and Safcol still have not a clue who SM be even when pointed in the right direction

There are many items linked to the US
The US striped tie (they still wear them) probably from Cain-Sloan, Nashville TN. I have one exactly the same from there.

Some items he had may have been purchased in Sydney on his arrival by Pan Am and while waiting for his connecting flight to Melbourne by domestic airline.
There are too many US items for me to not say he was American or from the US or that was his last port of call. Everything says he came to Australia from the US at that time.
I don’t like the simpletons answer of Carl Webb. His profile just doesn’t fit.

I just had a look back at Wikipedia and the whole SM thing has been rebuilt with a lawyer putting up a candidate. And it’s one that didn’t get a mention till now. I don’t like the way this is heading.

Holban’s done and dusted as a serious contender seeing’s he died years later in Salzburg Austria. Think it was intended as a joke, his facial profile being a dead spitter for the professor.

haha yeah, I remember there was a site,and the lawyer drew pictures on SM bust and tried to pass it as being legit,and Mr.Halban looks nothing like the SM!
