And I use the word allegedly with a caution.

But not a word was publicly said, not a bloody whisper.

I think it was all knowing Detective Sgt. Feltus who gave us the “brother-in-law” version of his having found the Rubaiyat on the front floor pan? of the little Hillman Tesla? before puting it in the glove box where it sat for six months unoticed. Don’t know if it helps or hinders the net value of Qs 14, 15, & 16. There were other vastky differing versions of the find that may answer such questions and make some sense of it all, eg., 12(a), 14(a), 15(a) and 16(a); question thus being “What fucking Rubaiyat mate”?

Det Brown’s replies suggest to me that he knew all too well what happened to the ROK and, the last thing he was going to admit was why and when.

Q11.5: refers to Steve H. of male gender to most. Then why pray tell does fat Dusty insist on calling her Steph, knowing full well that she was likely born a bloke?. Simple reason being she complains like a bitch and groans like a sheila. 18. SteveH likens the silence of all those connected to the RoK finding to the likewise silence of Christi and Stuart after their grand revelation, but which is more likely to have been their late realisation that they were looking at a photo taken about ten years later than initially thought – and, that being the case the blonde tagged Carl Charles Webb is in fact the blonde named Richard Charles Webb … something our dear Professor has nightmares about I’m sure.

Thing not open to debate, just one of many self serving bold arse lies from Steph that is overlooked time after time without intervention by the modulator. I refer to Steve H’s claims of the name ‘dusty’ being exclusive to female gender, when truth be known ‘dusty is gender neutral. Case in point Miller McLeod Everson, was the most ornery shoot-em-up King of the Cowboys in 30s & 40s western moviedom. His main gun slinger roles were as ‘Dusty King’ in the best selling Range Buster series and Pokey SANDERS in the Gentleman from Arizona. So there you are folks truth at last. PS. My mate John ‘dusty’ Rapp 1945/68 my forward scout offsider will be forever remembered as Dusty and never a better soldier in my books.

Back to square one apropos my last deleted post; Willam Alfred Cotton, according to CM’s loose cannon sleuth Steven H., lived at Moseley St. Glenelg in 26 January 1966. From my enqiries Bill Cotton, Nancy B’s lover according to Steve H., was a licensed S/H dealer to be precise who visited Hong Kong in ’69 for 30 days, then Fiji in ’70 for 21 days. His address then being given as 604 Magill Rd. Magill, which be consistent with Sands and McDougal for 1966/67, a long way from S H.’s 105 Moseley St. Glenelg which she has an obsession with. That’s all for now and thanks PB for letting me play catch-up.

Right you are on that score Peteb, moving on is the only way to go. Big question being, like where to. Must admit that I’m more that satisfied that I’ve done all I can to show the naysayers, that the Somerton Man aka Henry Salomonson is as good as in the bag for my money. As for the Beaumont case, reckon that the kids will come forward no worse for ware apart from aging soon enough. Any other tricky mysteries that need solving, don’t ask Pelling or his girl friday Steph, it’ll end up being another endless loopy loop if they get their way.

Cut to the quick, you’ll find all my good oil on Salomonson over a number of years which also includes self serving put downs by Cranks but not a whisper from CM central. Name was given to police on 8/12/48 as card carrying ‘Solomonson’ who was said by beer drinking aquaintance as a look alike for SM a few days after being found. Police came up clueless but I managed to track down English conman John S. and Aussie wife Audrey arriving Adelaide per SS Mooltan September ’48 and giving his address in King St. Nth Brighton a brief stroll from Somerton beach. Obviously not y’man as he died in St. Kilda 1964. More back tracking found his older brother and partner in crime Henry de La Fargue Salomonson bn. Hamstead 5/5/05 who was said to have visited Adelaide as a youngster (no arrival record) but by 1944 had disappeared from his usual haunts ie., Belgium and London. A very helpful Dutch Salomonson gene search web site could not find hide nor hair of him nor a death date, but did provide a snap of his father Johan (died 1915) and who be a spitting image of our Somerton Man’s most up to date likeness as a clean shaven young man of 20. I’ve forwarded information to Sapol in September and was very pleasantly surprised to be contacted by a detective in the cold case bureau. That’s my brief to this time and I’m standing by for word from Coroner ‘Frank’ Whittle. Any questions?

On a more serious note, it’s high time we showed some interest in the Dorothy Jean Robertson missing link what was ostensibly overlooked by snapper Pelling and his minions. I’m talking about Doff’s mystery brother-in-law James Claude Crick, husband of her younger sister Phylis. Jim had been a trainee foot mechanic, working for Harley & Co. a Melbourne based surgical instrument manufacturer before the war and did service with the RAAF as a nursing orderly way behind the lines for the duration. I’m a lone wolf in wondering did he get to know Web foot Charlie through treating his foot condition or else knowing him through work as a precision instrument maker for a mutual employer in Harley & Co. Don’t know what became of Jim except that in later life he gave his employment as clerk which doesn’t help a lot. Looks like a job in need of someone adept with newspaper know-how.

Ah Clive, I think you’ll find we’re a little beyond that sort of basic stuff like when, where and in what order Mrs. Phyllis & Mr. J. C. Crick died. We don’t need the SM imposter Webb camp taking the piss y’hear. One thing of interest that might give us a break be that James (Jim) & Claude (Clod) were interchangeable. Also that Dorothy more than likely worked for Harley & Co. surgical appliance company specialising in foot care, the boss being T.O. Jones.

Trying to figure out goings on with Tbt’s Beaumont thread is likened to extrapolating on Steve H’s total confusion with Barry Cotton’s family, relatives and friends. That includes nominated lover Nancy Beaumont, four years his senior and links to every named suspect for the kid’s abductions. I do recall there having been a brother Peter in the Cotton family mix but like the other named siblings, I had no reason then or now for follow up. Like Bryan Littely, Steve H., as she prefers these days, tends to mix fact with fancy and so Peter was likely another tall tail too. Not my fancy!

    GC’s on to something

It ties in with Gordon and Olive not being there, and even if they were, it’s just a fabrication to make people believe that Somerton man was on the beach that evening and died there overnight

Whereas, Somerton man was never on the beach that evening, but dumped there in the wee hours of the morning

Different clothing descriptions, ties in with detail being fabricated, which reinforces Gordon and Olive were never there, and if they were there as props claiming they saw something, that doesn’t matter, the body was never there in the evening

GC’s got the detail of it all

If only the ‘tea leaf’ could get things straight which he always seems to miss, ie., Robert Frederick Bird Wake bn. Essendon Vic. 27 Dec. 1900 (125 Sat. next) having had his office in Brisbane, truth be that it was in Sydney when he took over newly formed ASIO field ops in 1949, up until his resignation (pre sacking) in 1950. Can’t wait to hear more about Gordon & Olive and his as yet undecidedness re their loyalty to Aussie Bob’s mob or Rusky Ivanoff @ SM, as he suggests. The main problem with identifying witnesses, especially eye witnesses be that the ranking case officer Harry Strangway was himself tied up with another matter, that being a serious rape charge hearing for Thursday and Friday, thus no senior stand in to give direction on how now to proceed with the SM beachbody identity, cause of death etc. PCC Sutherland & Detective Gollin did well to secure statements from Jack Lyons and the courting Eureka couple, comrades Gordon & Olive by the second day.
