The hidden Jestyn.
Thirty years is a long time.
1948 to 1978.
1978 was the year Stuart Littlemore interviewed Alf Boxall at his home and was shown the Rubaiyat gifted to him by Jessica Harkness. 1948 was the year an unidentified man was found dead on Somerton Beach, 200 yards from her home.
Littlemore, as always the suave lawyer who later was ticketed up as a QC (now KC) did something strange during the interview, or rather didn’t question why something appeared strange during the interview.
The header pic shows the inscription and Littlemore’s hand holding the book open, but there’s something missing in the picture ..
The person who wrote the inscription had their name taped over for the interview. You can see above where the tape has since been removed
Why?
Thirty years on and somebody wanted a secret to be kept secret.
And why didn’t lawyer Littlemore question the (oh so) obvious cover-up ? Or was he told to do it himself, and if so, by who?

Am I correct in stating, it doesn’t look as if Jestyn’s name was covered up? Instead, it looks like to the Left of her signature, some paper looks torn, top to bottom-not sideways as you would expect? If that was the case, what was hidden and written beneath that part which was covered over? And, if Boxall did indeed have that book in his possession, was it his name written and covered up? If so, why cover it up? To distance himself from Jestyn, as he knew far more about her than he liked to admit?
