While we’re on the buses, somethink I picked up years ago and kept to meself. Dial up ‘Fullers Adelaide Street Directory – 1948 Now when the index shows, go to Glenelg Map 17, easy as pie; the interesting thing being the marked alternate bus routes to and from town to Helmsdale (St. Leonsrds/nth Glenelg) and Somerton as per Hall’s fucked up testimony. It settles any other smart arse arguments on SM’s most likely travel plan via St. Leonards. Don’t forget to say “Excellent” no need for fake names or thanks Bozo.
Nick ‘Dingo’ Pelling has at long last been able to convince his CM faithless that .. The Moon’s a Balloon. What follows next who knows? Perhaps its just about time to .. Bring on the Empty Horses ah la David Niven, eh Bozo?
Yep, separate bus routes. In the 60’s I knew them designated as route 23 to Somerton, and route 26E to Graymore. They would alternate through the city 23, followed by 26E, 23, 26E …
By then they went straight down King William St and turned right into Grote St and then left on to West Terrace
Should know, got the bus to Adelaide High on West Terrace
You can make anything you like out of that code I guess, especially if you don’t know jack about Adelaide
Cramer craves publicity and has had some success in convincing the gullible that his research is proof enough for them to believe his theories. But, as we all know, a theory needs confirmation to be believed. A party who can independently come to the same conclusion after doing their own research.
Pelling tried that years ago and came up with nothing, short of calling Cramer a faker, and Dingo Nick is no mug in the making sense of secret codes.
Well, some tea leaves are stronger than others, I understand some tiny letters appear in the cup, some spell Twinings others spell Tetley, and, others spell Liptons. It’s what you believe, I suppose.
All will revealed in God’s good time, a llittle pạtience might be order until the book completion/release. Speaking of books, it is well known that the Boxall version of ROK by A. .W Hamilton does contain code according to Bob Forrest, part of a bit of fun introduced into his work by the illustrator Bill Stirling who was known for such shenanigans. Gordon is a little behind due to Sapol and the city Coroners office demands on his expertise. I understand that Alan Hamill has been invited to do the forward.
A good remedy for false readings would be for Mr. Cramer to use Lipton teabags which wouldn’t leave any residue likely to create legible code and therefore avoid any such frustrations altogether.
Ok … Here’s Alf, just back from repairing a bulldozer up north, hands all greasy, thirst like a desert traveler, but first he has to cipher up a ROK so the little nurse he mails it to, and who’s name he couldn’t remember could pass on these secrets he learnt to ….. someone?
How could anyone believe such a scenario?
Getting Mr. Cramer come clean on his code lifting process (lemon juice & Marvolin) be just as pointless as producing the book that we know was never within his or chemist Freeman’s grasp. In reference to a book that was or maybe still is in his possession, the one he’s on about right now, be the Hamilton Sha’ir Omar version of which he has never provided proof. I’m thinking the dual language edition could be a late Singapore pressing which be almost identical in appearance/size/format to the original ? 1932/33 version printed in FSB or the late ’44 2nd pressing printed in Sydney. As I pointed out yesterday, all the copies are know to contain bits of fun coded trivia within the illustrations thst be a hallmark of William Stirling’s work from at least 1918, a little before 1948, yous’ll agree.

Perhaps WTBIM means West Terrace Before It Meets…
Still wondering why there is a gap between the first two letters on both the first line and the last line of the Code?
