The question that has to be asked ..

She’s talking about Professor Abbott’s claim that Carl Webb is the Somerton Man.
Then there’s this ….
“It’s important to note that the DNA used by Professor Abbott and his team was not extracted from the body; but rather from hair fibres found on the original plaster cast bust.”

In other words, nobody has determined if the hairs taken by Professor Abbott were from SM’s body or were the result of cross contamination when Lawson was working on the cast.
Paul Lawson’s bust and the hairs Derek Abbott used to extract DNA. And I still can’t figure out how SM’s hairs are poking THROUGH the plaster.

Some speculate that the ‘Other Charlie’, being Charles Richard Webb was in fact the Charlie identified by Professor Abbott as the Somerton Man: this claim is based primarily on the physical similarities shared between the Other Charlie and Charlie (Carl).

The Other Charlie, being Stuart Webbs fathers’s brother, Charles Richard, born 1917.
However where we run into difficulties here is that according to Stuart Webb, one of the older ladies in the header shot is his great grandmother, and he told me “My great grandmother is in the photo. She died in 1929.”
That would make the Other Charlie about twelve when the family pic was taken therefore he could not be the youthful, blonde-haired twenty-year old messing about in the header pic.
In conclusion: if the Other Charlie is the real Charlie, would it be reasonable to expect him to be in the family shot with his great grandparents and the rest of his family?
