Gordon Cramer’s Micro_Code Claim Discredited.
For over ten years, Gordon Cramer has been flooding the internet with his images and theories of a mysterious micro-code hidden within the letters found written on the back of a Rubiayat. The intention of this post is to show that such a claim is impossible to justify, let alone prove.
“Whilst finding the real code is very important and gives the case a whole new direction, the impact goes beyond that. It means that whoever worked on the code page, would have seen what was really there and it was literally covered up and then released for the public to see.” Gordon Cramer.*
On Saturday July 23rd, Chemist Freeman handed over the coded Rubaiyat to DS Leane after finding it in the glovebox of his car, having been put there by his brother-in-law who found it on the floor by the back seat.
6 Days later on July 29, Leane sent an ink enhanced photograph of the code letters together with a copy of a similar Rubaiyat to the Naval Intelligence Office at Port Adelaide
Gordon Cramer would have us believe that within the six days of DS Leane receiving the Rubaiyat and sending the photograph to Naval Intelligence, someone had been allowed to cover up ‘what was really there.’
This leads to at least three propositions.
(1) DS Leane allowed someone from a foreign agency to cover up what was really there, thereby denying Allied Naval Intelligence the opportunity to decipher the code,
(2) DS Leane allowed someone from an Allied agency to cover up what was really there, thereby denying Allied Naval Intelligence the opportunity to decipher the code.
DS Leane or one of his fellow officers took it upon themselves to hide what they thought was hidden in the code despite not being able to see it.
In other words, Gordon Cramer is saying the individual responsible for marking up the photograph did so in order to deny the agency most able to confirm his micro-code claim the opportunity to do so.
