Six pencils and a glass dish were found in the Somerton Man’s luggage.

Inventory

Two pieces of paper.

One sharpened pencil.

One dish full of water.

A smooth writing surface.

Method

Soak one piece of paper in the water, front and back.

Place it onto the smooth writing surface.

Place the other, dry sheet on top of the wet sheet.

Write your message on the dry sheet of paper using the pencil then dispose of it.

Allow the wet sheet to dry completely then soak it in water to display the message.

~~

No need for invisible inks and revealing compounds held in suspension in his missing socks for Mr Keane. Nothing to indicate he may have been active in covert meetings and exchanges of highly confidential information. And nothing to indicate that he was travelling under a false name.

A question: are the envelopes found in his luggage (pictured) about the same size as a soft-cover pocket-sized Rubaiyat?

Got some behind the scenes photos if you want them Pete, just tell me where to send.

Its a sombre mood down at the west end cemetery, a mix of news photographers a small smattering of on lookers along with a few cops and an excavator. Its headlining all the major news outlets in SA .

Tommy Keane is out of the ground finally after 70 years !!!!.

The diggers weren’t sure if he was in a coffin or not which was part of the hold up and he was deeper than first thought.

Given the famous funeral photo clearly has a coffin with pall bearers I wonder if some side SAPOL info suggests old Tommy was rolled out in the mud and the coffin was just for show?

.Doubt its but surely they would know he was given a coffin by the bookies wouldn’t they Pete?

Oh yes the boys from the Elephant and Castle. Still standing and a good drop punt r from the front bar would land right in the hole that they pulled Tommy out of today.
