Six pencils and a glass dish were found in the Somerton Man’s luggage.
Two pieces of paper.
One sharpened pencil.
One dish full of water.
A smooth writing surface.
Soak one piece of paper in the water, front and back.
Place it onto the smooth writing surface.
Place the other, dry sheet on top of the wet sheet.
Write your message on the dry sheet of paper using the pencil then dispose of it.
Allow the wet sheet to dry completely then soak it in water to display the message.
No need for invisible inks and revealing compounds held in suspension in his missing socks for Mr Keane. Nothing to indicate he may have been active in covert meetings and exchanges of highly confidential information. And nothing to indicate that he was travelling under a false name.
A question: are the envelopes found in his luggage (pictured) about the same size as a soft-cover pocket-sized Rubaiyat?
