34 Another scenario

We know the Somerton Body case was subject to ‘hands-on’ control by DS Leane.

We know procedures weren’t followed.

We know evidence was suppressed.

We think he was killed by allied intelligence.

We think the Somerton Man was a Russian spy.

Going on 70 years and counting….of course, it was covered up, I think he had proof of treason at the highest levels. Treason that is still poisonous.

.. the only way this scenario could work would be if both the Russians and the police had access to the suitcase. Clive, put your thinking gear around this.

Well, the suitcase was supposed to have been found unlocked by the police. Who leaves a suitcase unlocked in an unsecure location? Suitcase ‘deposited’ on 30 November, yet police were, apparently, advised, on 12 January there were no unclaimed suitcases in the luggage room, police finally decided to visit the railway station on 14 January, left it for another 5 days unlocked(?) before taking it away on 19 January. So, if the information is correct about there being no unclaimed luggage, what happened between 12 and 14 January? Was it possible, I wonder, to ‘borrow’ a suitcase for a day or two, then return it to the luggage room, without any questions being raised? That would give ample opportunity for any item to be either placed into the suitcase, or remove an item.

    • One party to remove an item, and another to place an item. Is that how you see it?

Quite possible, I suppose. Without either side knowing what was going on?

    • The only answer to that is yet another scenario ….
