the poison that killed him

Where was the bottle?

or if it was a powder ..

Where was the slip?

A thief rummaging through his pockets would not have bothered with either.

So where was he poisoned, and did he walk to the beach before lying against the sea wall?

“It was a warm evening, and many people would have been about.”*

If spasms, vomiting and convulsions accompany death by glycoside, then where did they all happen?

He was clean and tidy, all in order, almost as if he had been carried there.

The Tamam Shud slip is still in existence, and I’ll bet a box of Fantales it hasn’t been tested.
